I picked up a steel fender from Northern tools on Saturday. I split it in half with the sawzall, to make 1/2 for each side. Gonna put some 1/2" black pipe or 3/4" EMT to weld into the outer edge. It already has a rolled lip, so it should be easy.
I'll post pics when I get started.

The line is long, & there's no restrooms. When you get to the front, you are then told to wait some more.
Pretty sweet selection of steel fenders over there though. There were ones that would pretty closely fit the rounded wheel opening. I ended up getting the angled flat one similar in shape to the rubber mud guards that came on my YJ.
