While doing some routine mantainenece on The Duck today I decided to remove the inspection cover to try and determine the source of the "banging" sound. Turns out my flexplate has a huge crack in it. On to my question, I hvae the 4.0 liter engine withe the AW4 trans. I was at the local parts yard the other day to grab a bumper and saw a 93 ZJ with the engine out and flexplate intact. Are all the 4.0 flexplates the same or are they year specific? I will be going back to the yard ASAP to try and find a replacement but was wondering if it has to be a 93 ZJ.

...

Here it is, the September ROTM submission thread. Follow the rules and enter! I want to see more rigs and votes this month! Come on people!

RULES:

*updated*
1)	All pictures submitted must be hosted on your own with working links or you will be disqualified. (URL's only please, [IMG] tags not required)
2)	Please submit high quality pictures, your chance at winning could possibly be lessened by a poor quality picture.
3)	You are allowed to submit a maximum of 3 pictures for entries, if submitted more than 3 I will pick 3 at random.
4)	ANY pictures posted in the submission thread will not qualify for entry, all entries must be sent to the provided Email address.
5)	NO videos will be allowed for submission, only pictures.
6)	If you would like to submit, please note that you submitted in the submission thread. However, DO NOT post pictures in that thread.
7)	Winners cannot enter again for 6 months.
8)	Those who did not win can resubmit as many times as they want in the following months.
9)	Send in a list of specifications and a story on how it came to be, so if you got something sweet let us know what it is!
10)	At the end of the year, all rigs that won the previous months will be automatically entered for Rig of The Year. (December’s contest will be shortened slightly to allow RoTY)
11)	This is not a popularity contest, this is to see who feels whose rig is the best.
12)	It is your responsibility to help make sure the contest is known about. Please inform other members (and North Carolina non members) of the contest so we can get it up and running strong.
13)	Starting in April, every subsequent submission thread will be posted on the 1st of the month and will run until the 18th of that month. A voting thread with a poll will be posted as soon as possible and will run until the 29th or 30th of that month.
14)	As many rigs as possible are welcome to submit, but in the event that there are more than 10 entrants, I (along with some appointed judges) will cut the field to 10 for the voting thread)

Please submit your entries in THIS FORMAT, and put your CORF user name as the email subject:

Name:
Username:
Mods (optional):
Story (optional):
Pictures:

With that, please send all your entries to CORFROTM@gmail.com

Please follow ALL of the rules, and with that good luck to all who enter

I guess it's the solenoid/Bendix drive gizmo.:headscratch:

Anyway, it looks like it's about $70.00 pretty much everywhere.

There's a good repair place, (they built my weldernator) but they are only open during the hours I work. They'd prolly charge the same anyway.:dunno:
The jeep will start, after several embarrassing tries.:awesomework:
